Birds Eye View

Good day my friends, my family, and even strangers I hope to meet this Sunday.

Only 3 days left until we hit the road, (at a slow pace of course), zoom zoom with purpose.

In this photo is a view from above, what the birds and the souls we’ve lost see as we drive together to raise awareness.  Every thumbs up, every picture taken along the way, is a reminder that people are watching and supporting what we stand for.

Truth be told, my journey began with a deeply personal reason. I started by donating to the children’s hospital, as my daughter spent much of her young life in and out of the hospital. She was spared, and today she lives a normal, happy life.

When I nearly lost my brother, my perspective changed again. He too was spared, and now we walk together, grateful for every single day.

These are not sad stories — they are stories of hope and survival. They are why I now dedicate my efforts to the Movember Foundation, year after year. Because while my loved ones were spared, many others are not. Research is key, and research needs funding.

I’ve done this drive since the beginning, and I will keep doing it as long as I can breathe.

Donate what you can, $10, $15, or $20. It won’t hurt your wallet, but it will make a real difference.

Curious Spectators Everywhere

Oh, I LOVE IT when I see people taking photos of all the Gentlemen in our Montreal Team.  We see them everywhere, thankfully we don’t drive fast, we simply cruise through the many streets of our journey.

Here are a few glimpses from past years to give you a sense of what this event is all about. At its heart, it’s about ‘awareness’, ‘sparking curiosity’, ‘starting conversations’, and inviting people to take an interest in an important cause.

Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive 2025 in just 2 weeks

Hello, Allo, Ciao! In just 2 weeks, I’ll once again be championing a cause that’s near and dear to my heart, The Movember Foundation for Men’s Health. This year is extra special, as my daughter Layla will be joining me as my co-pilot for the drive.

On Sunday, September 28th, 2025, I’ll be on the South Shore of Montreal with fellow car enthusiasts who share the same passion: coming together not just for the love of classic cars, but to raise awareness and funds for an important cause.

I know I repeat myself often, but it’s worth emphasizing: the drive itself is just the tip of the iceberg. The real mission is for the global research and search for cures and on this day, drivers in 64 countries around the world will be behind the wheel together for the same reason.

This event takes a lot of preparation and deeply grateful to all the drivers who join in donating their time, passion, and cars to help make it special.

Driving For A Purpose... Driving For Men's Health.

The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive is about more than a themed drive with cool classic cars; it's a conversation starter, we are a community united by a passion, and the chance for us all to make a difference.

If you are thinking, 'again with this donation thing...' well YES again, and for as long as I can do it,

I will. 

It doesn't have to be a large donation sum, $5 or $10 or $20, it all adds up, every dollar counts.

There is no discrimination with Cancer, it affects many of us, we ALL lost someone we love to it. Prostate cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in men.  Movember is the largest funder of prostate cancer programs in the world.

My 5th Year!!

Hello Gentlefolks

2025 marks my 5^th year joining this wonderful drive to raise funds and raise awareness for Movember in regards to Men’s Health and Prostate Cancer.  I again will be getting behind the wheel for The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive 2025 with the cool Montreal Team.

Sunday September 28^th is the day, rain or shine, we drive.  This day is unique because together with thousands of other classic car enthusiasts on that day all around the world.  This year has been difficult for many, and I can state that I too now have to worry about this prostate thingy… I am being monitored, however I am in a safe zone so far.  I started this drive because of my brother, whom we almost lost, but for the grace of God, he is still here with us.  Not everyone is as lucky as my brother was, so research and research and more research is needed to save as many lives as possible.

PLEASE give what you can, every dollar counts.  I cannot make the font any bigger so I repeat PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE donate what you can.  You don't have to open your wallet deeply, you just have to open it to help with a little something.
