Welcome to the 5th year of The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive - Winchester and The South Downs.

For those that joined last year, we will be following a similar format as it was our best yet. We will start at Winchester, take a leisurely drive through The South Downs National Park, take a coffee pit stop at The Cowdray Estate, and finish at the legendary Goodwood Motor Circuit. 

As ever, the event is open to vehicles 40 years or older (1985 or older, tax exempt), or continuation models that are true to the design of this period, but built later. As usual, we will have a mix of sporting classics and slower machines, so we will take it at an easy pace and mostly use quieter A and B roads.

The event is open to everyone, so please bring partners, children and friends. It is a socialble event and the more the merrier. Please don't forget to dress in your most dapper attire, whatever you may have. We will have at least one photograher along for the drive to capture some memories.

The start is at Hampshire Pantry, a fantastic cafe on Badger Farm Road in Winchester. They will be serving breakfast and coffee, so please come along with an empty stomach to support them and have a chat with some of the other drivers before we set off. https://www.hampshirepantry.com/

Our pit stop will be the famous Cowdray Estate in Midhurst. It gives us a chance to rest the cars, hydrate and use the toilets. They have a great shed in the courtyard where you can pickup a coffee or pastry. https://www.cowdray.co.uk/ 

From Cowdray, we will head east to the nearby town of Petworth, where we will do a loop around the picturesque town centre and then take a short drive through the Downs, south to Goodwood.

When we arrive at the legendary Motor Circuit, we will be meeting 5 other drives from London, Sussex and Surrey, and doing a parade lap around the track in our group. There will then be a chance to mingle in the paddock and look around a few hundred classics, grab something to eat and drink, and some charity activity through our partner Movember.

PLEASE don't forget the reason we are doing this, to raise funds and awareness for men's health charities- specifically Mental Health and Prostate Cancer, through our charity partner Movember.
